Lou Ferrigno, the actor in the CBS television series The Incredible Hulk, is slated to become a sheriffs deputy in New Mexico.
Socorro County Sheriff William Armijo is scheduled to deputize Ferrigno next week at a special ceremony.
Officials say Ferrigno will bring decades of law enforcement experience to the department and be instrumental in recruiting for the department and the county.

He’s 68 years old, according to Wikipedia, but I hope local law enforcement benefits.

That show made me cringe and I was a huge comic book fan. Justice on screen for the character did not happen until the first Avengers movie. That’s the way Hulk ought to be portrayed.

He may be 68, but he works harder to stay physically fit than most young guys.

No kidding. Now that the FF is officially in the MCU, I have high hopes Feige will get the characters right.

You have to work harder to be fit when you’re 68 than when you’re 18!
I didn’t check out what his law enforcement background is, but I admire his desire to be useful.

Middle hulk - the guy between Bixby and Ferrigno - never gets elected to anything.

That is true. However, if you do make fitness a lifestyle, your ability to be functionally fit, like an 25 year old, is still there.
I think he can meet the department’s physical requirement checklist.

Maybe Freddy F will be in The Eternals coming out this year. I read somewhere that the movie will explore several thousand years of MCU history.

100% he does. I met him on the set of the Hulk with Ed Norton. He’s solid 2A.
