49ers report card: Dee Ford’s return aids dominant defense in win over Vikings

I watched the game. They never attempted to establish the run. The Vikings had the best running game in the league. The 49ers had one of the worst rush defense. And by playing into the 49ers game, they made their QB a sitting duck.

Look, I am a 49ers fan. But I'm not blind either.

Nonsense.

Ravens were #1 due to Lamar scrambles.

For running backs from line of scrimmage it was Niners. They had the best pure running game in the NFL. Still do.

And they shoved that fact down the throat of the Vikes.

Oh, Niners were #12 against the run after injuries. Above halfpoint. And even with injuries finished #1 against the pass.

Once all the big dogs got healthy, they went back to their stats after the first 8 games...when they were #1 against the run too.
