Yes, it seems you are right about the inheritance. That must be a change from what was believed years ago. It was thought that there was always a Downs child produced by a Downs mother.
I like to keep the correct distinctions between words. I don’t think “genetic defect” and “chromosomal abnormality” are the same thing. The irregular separation of the aging ovum is not genetic as far as we know now.
So, you’re right and the medical community is wrong? And your medical degree is in which field?
