The major cause of my sleep apnea is a large tongue due to heredity. When I was first diagnosed my doctor told me a CPAP would be my best treatment option. He was right and I got immediate relief from my sleep apnea the first night I used a CPAP machine. I have used a CPAP for over 20 years traveled intentionally and even gone camping with my CPAP machine.
