Don’t disagree, but do you look for a way to prevent it, or just have to wait until they act on it. I see the danger of normalization, but it doesn’t seem she is advocating that at all. And sadly, that effort (normalization) exists today anyway.
I don’t know-—the research I have come across is inconclusive. Showing most do not want help and the ones that do get help quickly drop out leaving little sympathy for their victims. Most still have the desire and those that drop out almost 40% go back to molesting children....they’re the ones that are caught——many continue without getting caught. There’s too much that’s inconclusive and she makes it appear that all they need is some help and they’re cured-—sadly, that’s not even close to what the truth is....
