I have Linux Mint 18.3 Cinnamon too. I can use it pretty well and it does most of what I need to do. But the office suite is substandard versus MicroThief Office and I have spreadsheets that won't port over due to their extreme size.

Other than that, Linux should suffice into the future as W7 falls out of use. But I still plan on maintaining my W7 system and I'll still be using it for quite some time. If W10 didn't spy on people and send data back to MicroThief I wouldn't have much of a problem with the current version, but due to their stealing data I'm not a fan.

I’m 100% with you on all that. I’ll keep W7 on both my units running as long as I can, then go over to Linux... or something.
