Agreed, but a person needs to recognize that fact prior to boarding a plane with a one-way ticket. It’s a recipe for disaster when they find out they were lied to. No money, no job, no hotel/apartment, no food and no transport back home when it doesn’t work out.
More importantly, since Harvey Weinstein’s fall from grace, any woman, talented or not, that travels to LA / Hollywood on a wing and a prayer needs to do some deep soul searching before committing to such an adventure. Otherwise they end up in a class action lawsuit like this one.
In Hollywood, it takes a long time and a lot of hard work to achieve stardom and fame.
Just be prepared to have a day job while pursuing a very expensive dream.
