BitTorrent announced today that DLive, the popular blockchain-based content sharing platform, will be joining the BitTorrent ecosystem and begin the migration to the TRON blockchain. DLive and BitTorrent will be working together to bring blockchain-based peer-to-peer content sharing, including live streaming, to everyone. DLive will advertise their products and services on BitTorrent as well as using its newest service for storage.

Just saw this.

There is a news site which has been on YouTube, which I have followed for several years.

Recently they became increasingly discouraged with YouTube. They are still on the platform, but (much) from what they were. The publisher is conservative.

Today I just noticed there is apparently a new working relationship, between DLive and Bittorrent.

The DLive platform is just starting out, and has a lot of gaming and talk sort of sites, but it is growing.

I don't know a lot about it yet, but my phone had the application to download, and if anyone is interested you can take a look.

It is still quite small, but seems interesting as an upcoming alternative to YouTube.

The site I like on the platform is Texas News Studio.

It is not full time, but their exposure in America is a good time period.

It is completely free.

Interesting anyway.

I have no connection to the website, other than a user.

Interesting. I thought Bram was doing his own cryptocurrency and I’m surprised to see BT throwing in with Tron. I almost don’t believe it.

You can see for yourself.

I’m just saying what I am reading on DLive, and on the website.

I could be wrong, but it seems legit

Interesting that TRON blockchain was chosen. Video might be a killer app but the price of the TRX token of TRON continues to decline. TRX is what is called a centralized, premined shitcoin. 100 billion were premined. Only 67 billion are circulating, implying Justin Sun and TRON insiders could dump scads of the TRX they hold if TRX appreciates, crashing its price. TRON is not decentralized and the SEC takes a dim view of 30% or more premined coins, which TRON is, the SEC viewing the TRX token as a security, subject to SEC rules.

So are the founders of Dlive getting TRX under the table for choosing the TRON project?

A more above-the-board approch would have been fir Dlive to use the Rootstock sidechain of Bitcoin as the platform and token.
