This is not an exaggeration, but the common man on the street here in the USA, DOES understand what happened, and all are hoping and supporting this administration, wanting to avoid an almost inevitable war (conflict is an insufficient descriptive word) with the socialist/Marxist/communist/fascist elements, practically begging our side to stomp their guts into the ground.
