Thanks. I know about Flickr, I use it for images I can’t find on the web.
And it used to be that if I hotlinked a photo, then hit “refresh” on the browser during the post preview, it would show me that the image isn’t linkable.
But something in the past year or so changed with Chrome so now, even with a ‘refresh’ the image is still shown using my local cache and I can’t tell anymore if the hotlink is successful or a failure.
And I didn’t want to go through the trouble to save the image to Flickr.
It is a bit of a hassle. I agree. Why they haven’t added a bit of HTML to make it easier is a mystery, but don’t get me started on low IQ programmers & web developers...
