“A couple of weeks ago, employees found a basket full of Benadryl in the parking lot. Benadryl contains ephedrine, another ingredient used to make meth.”

I guess you missed that part from the article, right. LOL. If you go the Benadryl website, You’ll find the UK at one time had pseudophedrine (still do?) in their Allergy Relief Plus Decongestion while in the USA currently Benadryl Allergy Plus Congestion contains phenylephrine. I’ve read you can’t make meth from phenylephrine, but I’m betting pelnty of meth heads have tried. Maybe, the person (corrupt cop?) who planted the drug on my car didn’t know any better either. Was I to be charged with assembly of drugs. I saw an innocent man almost sent to prison in my county this last year. An honest and observant prosecutor was the only thing that prevented that.

My son gave me a game camera for Christmas. A critter has been digging up around the bird feeder. I put the cam out last night and it’s a raccoon visitor.

WYZE Cam powered from the 12V in the car through a USB socket with a 32gb card set to record continuously is good for +/- three days and then loops for 3 more days. Can be set to record “events” only and the card lasts the 14 days. Think it will also send to the cloud. Camera doesn’t draw enough current to bother the battery. $20.00 plus 10.00 for the storage card is the total one time expense.

A bit on the expensive side, but a Rove r2-4k, with a 128gb card, and a 20,000mAh battery pack is going to be about $220 if you don’t look for a deal, it is self-contained so you can hide it in a sweatshirt in the back, and it should record about 7-8 hours straight without draining your car battery at all. Wide field of view, 4K resolution, and is good for use in the car as a dashcam too. You can record for longer if you want to get a bigger battery and are willing to settle for a lower resolution.

I’ve personally found Garmin action cameras to require a lot of babying to be serviceable, and I’ve had to replace a few. I’ve got a lot of experience acquiring more video like this than you would ever believe. It is tempting to go cheap, but more expensive gear is much simpler to deploy, gets better video, and is more reliable, as a rule. It makes a lot more difference when you are doing it daily than it seems it would, when you are debating whether to get the cheap one or the expensive one before you’ve actually done it for a few weeks.

Good luck. Pro-tip - if you deploy the camera and the thefts stop, you’re under surveillance and it is your local surveillance team fucking with you because you caught a bunch of lefties. More common than people think, as we are about to find out as Trump’s show reaches its apex. They saw you getting the camera and stopped so as to avoid exposure.

Ok. But that’s NOT “ Benadryl”.

It’s diphenhydramine ( harmless). AND pseudoephedrine ( meth precursor).

Details matter.

What was the point of your comments exactly. You certainly didn’t address planted drugs on my car, illegal or legal. You didn’t comment on cameras in the least or my personal experience of why you need one. As I’ve shown in just one instance, there is a perception out there that meth can be made from Benadryl and that there are several versions of Benadryl. That very perception could get you convicted in a court of law from planted evidence on your vehicle, arrested and charged with illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for manufacture of drugs.

Harmless? really, lol. I’m betting more then half of these people would disagree with you. https://www.askapatient.com/viewrating.asp?drug=6146&name=BENADRYL

The point was, that you can’t make meth out of benadryl. Period.

You need sudafed or ephedrine.

if some idiot druggie stuck put it your car he’s an idiot.

If law enforcement was trying to frame you the case would have been tossed in a second. DETAILS matter.
