Realistically, I do it all the time. And I bet you do too. I just published a list (on my FR profile page) of Obama administration people who I believe are guilty. Sure, I could be wrong.
I favor trials, which again aren't perfect, but are about as good as we've been able to come up with to prove guilt or innocence. But of course, there are problems with them too, especially when you have things like the FBI threatening people with going after their family, as they supposedly did with General Flynn.
