“Are states in which alcohol is legal “alcohol peddlers”?”

In a manner of speaking, the
answer is yes, as the states
regulate the sale, licensing,
and distribution of alcohol.
Not to mention the collection
of taxes on alcohol sales.
It’s their regulations that
state how, where, who
gets to sell it, and
when it can be consumed,
and by whom. States
have their grubby fingers
in the pie.

Not in the common meaning of "peddler."

And even in that manner of speaking: what of it?
