Senator Mike Lee would vote to outlaw FISA. He says problems have been there, but finally became Public.

Oddly enough, FISA was originally intended and sold as a means of protection for rights of Americans, as compared with the previous Bush adminitration abuses of surveillance in the wake of 911.

The theory was, at least the FBI or DoJ would have to go before a judge and make a legitimate case.

Turns out, not so much.
