Don’t forget the media, aka, the propaganda organs. How we do it is the 64k question. We need leaders that will mobilize our side into huge public protests that will make the lives of these snakes truly miserable.

That said, I'm not sure how our side fights this demonic entity (other than what we are already doing).
Our side is encumbered by rules of engagement that honor and respect life, privacy, individuality, freedom, principles of honesty and decency, etc., etc., etc.
The enemy has none.
We can dismantle academia because we the people control some or all of the funding of it. But the media is privately owned (except for NPR).
I need a tattoo on my forehead to remind myself to spend more time thinking about this matter.;-)

I was a teenager for most of the 70's and I do remember that nonsense. Back then I never really believed them.

Remember in the 70s we were (supposedly) getting ready for the oncoming ‘Ice Age’.
I also recall sitting around as the FICA withholding went up and we were nursing our beers while bemoaning the fact that while we were in our 30s paying into SocSec, we damn sure would never see a penny of it....

Remember the days of the Tea Parties? We didn’t destroy property or kill anybody, yet our public presence and getting into politicos face was enough to keep our “representatives” on the straight and narrow and instill fear on the other side as well as corporations.
We’ve completed ceded the public space to the left. They are using the tactics of the tea party.
Imagine for example if every time a library held a drag queen reading hour there were 100 or so noisy protesters outside raising a bit of hell.
