Greta's mom wrote a book, Scenes from the Heart, in which Greta's episodic depression, panic attacks, autism, OCD, and life-threatening anorexia are all detailed. (So much for the medical privacy rights of minor children.) I *fear* as soon as Greta is no longer useful, she'll be dropped or perhaps persuaded by the fanatics that only her suicide would move the world.

Meanwhile, however, Greta's being used as a human shield: a child subject to life-threatening panic attacks, being pushed into high-stress venues because she can make political demands with neither personal nor political accountability. She's unhappy: "Oh. OK, let's hand over global governance to her sponsors."

Those who want to engage public issues should engage in public debate. I will not go for planetary governance advice though, to an emotionally tormented adolescent girl who knows -0- about geophysics, meta-economics, global politics or world history, and who represents the policy preferences of Davos.

That’s so messed up on multiple levels.

Teens are especially sensitive to “peer review” and this one has been set up by her own parents to become a worldwide meme generator.

At least Grumpy Cat was loved.
