Plus transmitting them “electronically” to someone in another state seems like it would violate several federal laws too...

Counterfeiting is where I stopped reading. I somehow doubt that is accurate unless I dont understand the word.Counterfeit doesn't just apply to money. He could have fake documents, fake art, fake holdings, fake collectibles of some sort, etc...

I personally know a former Sec Serv guy here in Hollywood. Counterfeiting does not necc. mean money but other physical entity with monetary value.
