You certainly need to have an ophthalmologist that knows about corneal neuropathy or you will be right back in the PAIN boat.

And that is simply unacceptable after all you have been through.

I wanna come see Dr. LG! You know more about corneal neuropathy than most of the doctors I’ve been to. The one today just gave me a blank look. I sort of throw it in there as a test, to see what they do. Usually they pretend like they know what it is but the way they talk about it I know they don’t even remember what they learned in school. granted it’s hard to remember all the rare diseases. But I love the honesty of the one in Asheville that told me that he had no idea about it. And was very willing to take direction from my doctor in Boston. And then there’s the young cornea specialist in Asheville that actually went to Dr. Hamrah’s lectures and met him. I need to decide between those two because the guy today wasn’t all that impressive. Nice and probably very good, but I have so many problems I need to look for someone exceptional. I know God will guide me to one when I feel very comfortable with them. That’s how it was when I had strabismus surgery. I just felt that God would guide his hands and his mind, and I quit doing any research. The less I knew the more comfortable I was.
