Poland risks leaving EU with new judges law, Tusk warns
EU Observer ^ | 19 Dec 2019 09:23 | Andrew Rettman

Poland risked blundering out of the EU with a new gagging law on judges, former EU Council president Donald Tusk and others have warned.

And its rejection of EU energy policy was a form of treason, Tusk added.

Simultaneously, Polish anti-LGBTI mores were making it look even more like a pariah, the European Parliament (EP) indicated.

“We [Poland] are leaving the EU step by step. It’s not an exaggeration. This departs from all the norms on which the European Union is built,” Tusk told press in Gdansk, on Poland’s Baltic coast, on Wednesday (18 December). […]

The law would ban Polish judges from referring some questions to the EU court in Luxembourg, violating the EU treaty on primacy of European law in member states.

It would also ban judges from attending protests like those on Wednesday, where several of them showed up, and from criticizing PiS (Prawo i Sprawiedliwość/Law and Justice Party) in public. …

We need to stay in the UN. We are on the Security Council and have veto power over any UN craziness.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

Gradually Poland will be more “European” than Germany, France, the U.K. and many others.

Ha ha ha, The Polish seem to be, along with SOME of the Brits, the only people with brains in Europe! Maybe add Hungary to this list as well.

The UN wants to write laws that supersede the internal laws of member states. Laws on many subjects.

I don’t want our domestic leftists to be able to use such laws as an excuse to change America in the image of the UN.

I know, they will try to do so anyway, but the farther we can separate ourselves from Global Government, the better.

The UN wants to write laws that will nullify many of the rights of the US Constitution.

The UN wants to write laws that will take away private property and take away many other things.

I want the US out of the UN.

I want the UN out of the US.

And I don’t think I’m alone in that wish.

Piłsudski proposed "Międzymorze", or "Intermarium", which was a coalition of the Central European States as a Bulwark against Germany and Russia.

Are you suggesting we should have joined The League of Nations?

I don’t know. I think that’s a more complicated question.

Could our joining the League of Nations prevented the rise of Hitler and the rise of Imperial Japan?

I seriously doubt it.

Anyway, that’s kind of ancient history now. Set in stone.

Although our current membership in the UN is probably very secure, I wouldn’t say it’s set in stone.

It is conceivable that we quit the UN and kick them out of the US. Highly unlikely, but conceivable.

It is not conceivable that we go back and change the history of post WWI United States.

Unless we develop FTL, which implies time travel. But if that’s possible, then where are the time travelers from the future? Should we be seeing them now?

“Blundering out” means without a programmatic Brexit style exit. I call that the best way.

IMHO the US should stay in the UN organization but the location of the UN building should change.

The new facility should be integrated into a remote section of our Southern Border Wall. Money we’ve budgeted for UN money could be used for the construction as well as the money made from selling the current real estate.

Think of the many benefits, including less congestion in NYC.

Outside the wall. I would support that. On the Mexican side, but not touching the wall.

There wouldn’t be a UNSC if not for us funding it.
Promote the UN as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces.

— Communist goal #11
And the same book that published the 45 communist goals for the USA also said this about the UN’s charter:
How do you account for the fact that the United Nations Charter follows the format of the Russian (USSR) Constitution of 1936 rather than the format of the (Covenant of the) League of Nations? Would you feel there was any significance in the fact that the general secretary for the organization which drew up the charter was Alger Hiss? …

The Naked Communist, Chapter 8
The UN from its very outset was an extension of the USSR, and has kept Stalin’s USSR alive 28 years after the (alleged) fall of that evil empire, spreading its anti-cultural poison through all of its members and keeping the Second World alive via Red China and its imperialistic inroads into Africa and South America, among far many other worldwide depredations.

Ya gotta love this one!

"There is no such thing as 'LGBTI ideology', but being anti-LGBTI people is part of an ultra-conservative ideology," German socialist MEP Delara Burkhardt said.

No such thing as an alphabet soup ideology? PUUUUUUUHHLLEEEEZZZ! And damn that Polish government, they don't want to take 'migrants'(just say moslems damnit!)and they won't won't cripple their economy by adhering to the globull warming BS. I wonder how that fence Poland planned to build on it's border is going?
