That’s not going to happen, because there are a lot of veterans who would rather sleep rough than be treated like a child by people like AOC and these cunning runts.
If a guy walks into a shelter with half a pack of cigarettes, two joints, and a Coors tall boy, the first thing they do is take them away. What the hell? Is this a grown man or not? When he got back to base after a fire fight, did they confiscate his smokes and his beer?
It appears that the people running these things would rather see the vets out in the freezing cold than to see them smoke a joint and drink a beer before they turn in.
The good news is that we’ll be able to coax her off of that soapbox for a long time, then.
PS: Homeless ‘shelters’ aren’t the only answer and are not necessarily even close to the best answer, either
