I believe a good percentage of psychiatrists are in that profession because they are nuts themselves. And then they have a job where they continually make pronouncements on other’s “mental health” and spend their day listening to their clients complain. What a miserable life....and so frequently wrong.

I always found it interesting that the majority of H.R. Directors / professionals I worked for have their degrees in psychiatry. And so many of them are sadists. FWIW...

I believe that “good percentage” exceeds 99%. Those people generally are dysfunctional.

totally agree with you. People with sever mental illness are attracted to the field. I suffer my self from bi-polar and at one point during my education was taking psychology courses because of a desire to figure out myself. Eventually I realized that going into this field of work would not be good for me or for others. I personally believe that a high percentage of psychologists and psychiatrist do more damage to there clients. I am not saying that anyone with problems should not seek help just be very aware that the person might be more sick then you.

“I believe a good percentage of psychiatrists are in that profession because they are nuts themselves.”

If they don’t go in to that profession they go in to Human Resourses administration. Those HR Directors are sadistic whack jobs.
