4 degrees above average means in the past, to get an "average" number, there were numbers above and below the "average".

It looks like this is one of the higher numbers.

My goodness, how will the fish ever survive a short term immersion in such a piddly temperature rise? Why they’ll boil to death in a matter of seconds, just like all mankind spontaneously combust into flames every time it goes from say 50 degrees to 54 degrees
