About age, this current crop of LIB leaders has certainly put AGE relationships back like BO put RACE relationships back.

Great! Then you understand why I was so surprised at the taste etc. The man explained how significant the timing of picking the dandelions is and carefully being selective to how they look which plays into the flavor and end results.

I was in the 1950s submarine service and was bunked in the forward torpedo room. One of the torpedomen mourned the introduction of “pink lady” to the torpedo fuel.
I asked him why. He said that during WWII they made “torpedo juice” by cutting the 180 proof alcohol with grapefruit juice and tie on one Helluva blitz. He said he woke after one bout and couldn’t move any part of his body but his eyes. Scared the Yell out of him.
The Powers That Be got wind of it and added a pink chemical to the alcohol to make it unpalatable.
I remember just before going on liberty after a patrol and saw one of the guys sloshing himself down with the stuff as a deodorant as we were short of fresh water. Ragged him about lighting a match - he REEKED.
