Crap. It was Willaim Holden in that scene, not Peter Finch.
Well, it’s Wiliam Holden but close enough. Peter Finch was also in the flick and won the Best Actor Oscar. Posthumously.
I have only seen a few minutes of that movie but “I’m as mad as hell and I’m not going to take this anymore!
Faye Dunnaway was born in the tiny Florida Panhandle crossroads town, Bascom, FL. My Father grew up there. Faye visited a few years ago. She asked at the only store for directions to her old house.
A movie more relevant today then even then....
“You have meddled with the primal forces of nature, Mr. Beale....”
“We’re in a lot of trouble!”
Outstanding movie (play). Unfortunately, way too much foul language prevents it from being shown.
I think all the foul language is completely unnecessary.
A brilliant movie. It blew me away when I saw it back then.
Unfortunately, so much of what it showed as bizarre TV has actually come to pass, so the edge is no longer there.
It doesn’t have the impact now that it did in the 1970s because so much of the movie has come true.
