Only ties up the impeachment managers, no need for the rest to be there or in reality the managers either. The Dems got what they wanted, but like seemingly everything in this farce they won’t like the result.

I actually meant to type (and didn’t!) that impeachment ties up the Senate - senators can’t campaign while tied up in impeachment trial. Meanwhile, the trial itself would allow POTUS and Q etc. to put before the public the facts prior to FISA release.

Sorry for the jump, should have known you meant Senate. Once it starts, the Dems running for President will have plenty of time, should be short. They don’t want much testimony, they have already ‘won’.

Trial is not necessary for this. Senate can call Rudy and the Ukrainian witnesses, probably even the Bidens if they want, without these being part of an impeachment trial. The issue Q is raising is Nanzi's ability to interfere with such hearing by dropping the impeachment floater in at will.
