He loved telling us about pulling a couch away from the wall and finding mushrooms growing in the carpet.
He has lived in the desert for many years now.

No doubt those shrooms were neither edible nor hallucinogenic. I’d prefer the desert to that too.
For now it’s the Rocky Mountains. Cold but usually dry and sunny.
