Mike Lee, the other Senator from Utah was on TV a couple of days ago and was asked if any Republican Senator would vote for impeachment. He said no. I thought if anyone knew how Mitt would vote it would be him.

Pssst, hey author. Let me let you in on a secret: Mitt Romney is all about Mitt Romney. That’s it, that’s the whole secret to understanding him. If he thought he could benefit from going against not only 90% of republicans who support Trump but the majority in the country who now oppose impeachment then sure, he’d try his best to make it happen. But he’ll do the math, look at his own prospects and say “uh uh, no way”. The good of the country’s got nuthin’ to do with Mitt’s thinking. In this case, he’ll accidentally do the right thing and not vote to remove.
