We had a neighbor fellow that beat the daylights out of his daughter on her 16th BD, put her in the hospital. Mom not home at that time, but her brother (same dad) begged him to call for help, take her to the hospital. He did get arrested. Scum he was. BUT...... the mom stayed with him, left for a month or two, then returned, blah blah..... blah.. Makes you sick to your stomach to know of this.

This incident here may very well be a “holiday heartbreak sobstory” and I sure hope that's the case.

May God protect all innocent children from any danger or harm.

Last week my beautician was telling me about a little five-year-old girl who was suddenly removed from her home and living with a good Christian foster family for now. My beautician and hubby are helping. The girl is five, and her being raped multiple times by multiple family members might not be the worst thing that she suffered — mostly at the hands of her mother. (It’s so awful I don’t want to write/say it.) Some people are worse than pigs.

On Tuesday I dropped off a bag of things that might help make her Christmas a little better. Can’t help with the psychological or emotional things, though.
