Interesting. I like the idea of the Supreme Court shooting the impeachment down, perhaps even declaring it “void”. However, it would have to be an expedited proceeding, like the Bush v Gore case in 2000, so that this nonsense doesn’t drag out into the spring before it even gets to the Senate. If they are going to decide in the spring term, then it might be better to let it get to the Senate, and then have them dismiss. That would be less satisfying, though, especially since Linda has said he won’t let Trump call witnesses.
