Dis, you wrote that to me yesterday and I didn’t respond because it set off a continuing internal debate. My reality POV is not reflected by the majority of people surrounding me.
Evil and Bat Guano cray cray are out there. But they are a minority. There are those who sold themselves to that age-old power, but they are the elite. In my circle, most are rational based on their sources of information. Therein lies the problem.
While taking notes on the debate, I played Fair Witness, just the facts. When I wrote my observations, I had to stop when I got to the part about Silicon Valley telling Pete they couldn’t compete with China’s AI dominance. I was stunned how that statement innocuously and effectively masked the darker truth. It’s impossible to compete if you are a partner/mentor.
Our journey has been long and labor-intensive. Good people I know whose reality is shaped by DS media abound. WWG1WGA (minus a few bad apples of course).
