No, Flynn was not impeached. Trump can pardon him. He can’t pardon anyone who was impeached.

~~~
Which might be why Nixon left before being impeached so that Ford could pardon him.
I’m sure the dems want to make the impeachment stick so that no one can pardon him.
He was pardoned by Ford so Rats couldn’t conduct a criminal charge and go after him in a court. Impeachment plus removal in itself carries no criminal penalty.
That is probably true. Had Nixon been convicted in the Senate, which was Democrat majority and full of RINOs on the minority side back then (there weren’t more than a few conservative Republicans back in those days), Ford could not have pardoned them. By resigning before conviction, Ford could.
Trump doesn’t need to worry about it because he will never be convicted. However, were I him, I would worry about future left wing AG’s going after him after he is out of office in 2025. After the election of 2024, he may want to consider resigning a few days before the inauguration, and hoping that Pence gives him a pardon. Maybe he can pardon Pence before he resigns, because they will be after him, too. If he is successful in draining the swamp, and defeating the deep state, by 2024, he may not need to resort to that.
