Seriously? You do realize this is the same mcconnell who is, and was part of the gang of 8 during the russia witch hunt. Also the same mcconnell who has yet had any of his committees investigate anything with regards to Ukraine. mcconnel is going to come out tomorrow and say that he wants to follow the same rules of the clinton impeachment. One that gives the opportunity to dismiss after the initial airing of the articles of impeachment. If that fails, then they have a hearing where both sides call witnesses. But mcconnell is assuming he has control of at least 51 votes. I'm not so sure that is true. If mcconnel does not control 51 votes, then 4 rinos could have complete control over the whole process. Imagine romney, collins, mccowski and burr deciding the rules of the hearing.
