A Senate trial means WITNESSES that don’t want talking, compelled to talk. This is ALL about narratives. Narratives like an IMPEACHED President can not be allowed to pick RBG’s replacement.

Good point! I hadn't thought of that. It's inevitable that Pres. Trump will have at least one more SCJ appointment. They have no other way to fight it, especially if Trump nominates Amy Barrett, or any female. It's going to be difficult for them to parade a steady stream of men that claim she abused them. The Dems have no game to combat this next appointment except to try to stop it.
