She’s got nothing on this guy:
On August 10, 2018, a Horizon Air Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 was stolen from SeattleTacoma International Airport (SeaTac) in SeaTac, Washington. The perpetrator, 29-year-old Richard Russell, was a Horizon Air ground service agent with no piloting experience. He performed an unauthorized takeoff and two McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle fighters were subsequently scrambled to intercept the aircraft. SeaTac air traffic control made radio contact with Russell, the sole occupant, who described himself as a “broken guy, got a few screws loose I guess.” Approximately one hour and 15 minutes after takeoff, Russell committed suicide by intentionally crashing the aircraft on the lightly-populated Ketron Island in Puget Sound.

Early 2000s or so, I was listening to DW on SW one Sunday.
A young adult stole a g/a plane, and flew around Germany’s Frankfurt airport, Europe’s busiest, for a while, effectively shutting it down.
He landed safely and was taken into custody without incident.
“He is thought to have psychological issues” said the newsreader...
