STAR Wars' The Rise of Skywalker has been praised for featuring the first same sex kiss in its history.
The latest instalment in the Sci-Fi franchise has been subject to a host of reviews from film fanatics detailing the "spectacular" new plotline and one groundbreaking scene in particular in the exciting intergalactic movie.

Been done with Star Wars and Disney for years.
I watched it yesterday. The only “gay” kiss that I saw was the one extra “elderly” lady kissing something that may have been female as the camere scanning the whole crowd hugging and kissing, and I could be wrong. So I didn’t actually see a gay kiss for sure, even though I was looking for one.
I was actually shocked at how good this movie was. I wasn’t expecting much. Maybe that’s why. :)
It was Rose and some other chick.
No it wasn't.
Much ado about nothing. The kiss was shown for less than 2 seconds, involving one character who had maybe 30 seconds of onscreen time and another we never saw before. If you looked down at your popcorn to see how much was left you'd miss it entirely.
You are right. The kiss was not Rose and some other chick.
My mistake.
You are also correct that the “kiss” was in passing and nothing to do with the story. It could easily be missed and ignored.
The fecal matter that these last 3 movies created with regard to the original 6 movies and characters is disgraceful.
Yeah I don’t need to see karpeet moonchers kissing in movies I pay good money to see.
So I will not be seeing this star wars movie. In fact I will not be seeing any movies without careful content scrutinization beforehand.
