Can't stand her singing. Nice voice, but all those runs drive me nuts.
Oddly, Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull annoyed me for the same reason.

Yep. I told my wife Carey sings like Tarzan yelling. The great female singers like Patsy Cline,Karen Carpenter,and Patty Page,didn't have to sing like that.

She is awful. She has to fill every single space with her voice. She moans her way in to every song. She trills her way out. I’d like to have seen Elvis do that. “Oh, baby. Ohhhhh, baby! YEAH, baby! Warden threw a party at the county jail!” Her runs give me the runs.
