The dude that plays him in “Death of Stalin” is pure pervert, and squealing pig as one of Kruychkov’s men dispatches him after having his sentence read and passed on him.
Excellent black humor and, taken from Kruschev’s son’s memoirs. It happened.... “burn you slimy “f.....k” as Kruschev threw the match on Beria’s gas soaked body.
The incoming “reforming” Communist.... etc.
And the final scene was great...as they panned to Brezhnev.
The guy who played Beria in “Stalin” was really creepy.
