But when it comes to reprisals nobody was as brutal to the Germans as Czechs after the war.

Cue the small violins for the NAZIs/Germans. The Sudenten Germans, who were most affected by the Czechs deserved to be expelled. They were all in for Hitler and his crowd.

True. Am reminded of the basis of the Czech military spy character in LeCarre’s “The Perfect Spy”.... the BBC production.

Magnus Pym meets a “Sudeten German Czech” “artist” in Switzerland who is there as a “refugee” protected by Swiss for the reprisals carried out on Sudeten Germans. As in, the Swiss Bankers still had (and do now, for that matter) billions in Reich gold and siezed assets in private accounts, some of the seizures from Sudetenland Czechs and the former government they aided the Nazis in murdering and theft. That is the “character” he is portrayed to the “brit” he is assigned to meet and C0-opt (and does). “just another german war vet conscripted from Czech”. And.. a perfect KGB/GRU true Communist.

It is a great story and production. Magnus’ story as a con artist’s kid... etc.

Motivations of people as political, and the horror they can realize on us Freedom loving people.
