But that’s just nutso. It’s like welcoming the Plague because you want to keep a headcold in check.

There’s definitely truth in this, and it’s heartbreaking since most Christians in the US feel an intrinsic connection to Judaism, and support Israel. The fact is that the vast majority of Western forces who fought Nazi Germany, defeated Hitler, and liberated the death camps were Christians, including many, many who died.
