Which reminds me, why would Vlad want Trump to win when Trump was pushing for the Keystone XL Pipeline while Hillary was opposed to it seeing as how oil is Russia’s top income producer?

Yes, and Trump was in favor of more defense spending and more energy production in the USA. Both of those items go away (as much as possible) with Hillary.

Trump also threatened Putin directly later when he said he would make up any shortages in European countries caused by Putin trying to mess with them.

Putin certainly doesn’t give a hug about Keystone XL. Russia is not selling oil in US and the trade between US and Canada is none of his business which he recognizes.
