Humpty Dumpty nadless Nadler should be reminded that crazy Adam Lanza killed his mother and STOLE her legally purchased AR-15.

Universal super-duper background checks would not have stopped the little psycho.

IIRC, the triggering event was that he found out his mother was trying to get him committed as dangerous over the opposition of the State trying to protect him from that.

This gets to the heart of these gun debates.

There are literally thousands of gun control laws on the books — federal, state, and local laws combined.

And the question that seems to have no answer is : What additional gun control law, would have prevented the tragic (fill in the blank) shooting? What additional law would have prevented any shooting you can think of? While we can all name various laws which any given shooter violated, even before he began his rampage, what new law would prevent such shootings? I’m all ears to hear an answer, but this never seems to get discussed by gun control advocates.
