There is never any reason for an adult to attack a 16-year-old girl, especially one who has achieved great success and done good. @GretaThunberg https://t.co/FNJ5WzFEyq https://t.co/2QXhGVaRz2— John Kasich (@JohnKasich) December 12, 2019

And to think Kasich and fellow doorknob Joe Scarborough were once considered rising stars in the conservative wing of the Republican Party.
He doesnt spend much time around high school students.
Writing words on Twitter is not attacking. The media has put a twit on a pedestal and promoted her in order to advance an ideology. The media and the UN are the cowardly weenies who set this girl up for ridicule by the masses.
They obviously have big time skeletons or proclivities to hide.
Hence the primary reason the Left is using this kid....a human shield.
He is still angry at President Trump for not appointing him to Post Master General.
NEVER? Hey, John, how about that black girl and her friends who were pounding on that defenseless white boy on the school bus in Florida?
Besides, respect is a two-way street, and Little Grating shows no respect to anyone -- certainly not Donald Trump.
He's well within his rights to slap her down.
There is if shes a political activist and a public figure.
We have every right to hold children accountable. They dont get immunity because theyre children.
Indeed. We sure can be stupid.
“She is a victim.”
The Nazi bitch Greta wants you and your family dead. That’s not a victim; that’s your mortal enemy. Wake up.
“There is never any reason for an adult to attack a 16-year-old girl”
That’s precisely why I never attack Kasich.
From one Ohioan to another, good riddance!
First, as a matter of logic, if Kasich believes what he says then he should have ordered his state police to never "attack" a 16 year old girl. No handcuffs, no arrests, no detainment, nothing. Funny, but I don't recall him doing that.
Second, Trump didn't "attack" Miss Thunberg. His tweet is funny, and Miss Thunberg herself posted an ironic and funny version of the tweet on her own twitter page. Trump treated Miss Thunberg as another person, one who is able to both give and receive comments. The people "attacking" Miss Thunberg are those that condescendingly treat her as some kind of weak person who needs to be protected from other people's ideas.
Trump's genius is his ability to make people like Kasich simultaneously make fools of themselves and undercut the very people they think they are helping.
Of course. And the statement is doubly ironic because Miss Thunberg herself has stated that she is being robbed of her childhood, and the ability to do normal teenage things because of the inaction by adults on climate change.
And if everyone did some more "chilling" the earth's average temperature could drop a bit.
The president didn’t attack her.
He said:
***”So ridiculous,” Trump said on Twitter. “Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!”
Sounds like fatherly advice to me. It is ridiculous that she’s time’s person of the year. She hasn’t had any serious impact that I can see. Partisans like her.
Pipe down, you little pip-squeak.
Admittedly this was a boy, but I this this 16 year old should have been attacked.
I’m with you on that one.
For whom has she done good? She is being used as a pawn and everyone knows it. She is allowed to say anything about our elected leaders but they are not? Not so...she should take what she gives..
