Too many of our coal plants have been “decommissioned” and can’t be restarted. We’d need to build new units.

I've been keeping an eye on this for several years.
If no sunspots pop up by Sunday, we will have the most days of no sunspots in a year since 1913.
Here's a website I'm fond of that keeps tabs on the Sun:

Thank you my friend... So as a SHTF plan against global warming, 20 years ago I bought bugout property at a 6000 ft elevation. Even in the Az southwest this is very soon going to be like living in Alaska...
Yep, it is happening... We are now headed into an ice age. Have been for 8,000 years. But we are just now right on the edge of the rapid extreme drop that will indeed happen in the next few years...

Right you are, and yet we’re issuing 20yr extensions to 60s & 70s nuke plants, aging and possible unstable, since so many coal plants are gone. We’re also erecting untold more useless windmills and producing toxic solar panels, both of which amount to a pitiful 6-8% of the nation’s energy supply. The radical eco-wacko demonKKKrats are calling the shots.

If you click on the link to the “wild weather of 1913” in the article, there is an article from the Leavenworth Times that the glaciers are disappearing from the equator. lol!

It is the plan for the long term cause and effect. There are those who will profit well with the end goal to reduce population in mass. Not one thing in all this climate change crap is coincidence or accidental...
Didn’t get to town today, My lines got fouled again today. Trying for tomorrow sir. :)

One of my kids helped collect some of this data. His college job was as a data technician on the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) satellite mission referenced in the article.
He told me about solar minimum a couple years ago.
Hes on a different nasa satellite mission now.

Yep, agreed.... just be aware that with two major versions of the daily sunspot numbers, I believe the "official" version, which can vary +/- a few from the numbers at spaceweather, may vary the day when we exceed spotlessness of 1913.
I follow both... here is a link I've been using to the other version:

Can always increase the trace amount of methane in the atmosphere.
