Motor vehicle accidents are chat material? And just how would I have known that? It certainly looked like news to me.
If it had appeared on NY Post's Page Six, or maybe the TMZ website, I would agree, but it didn't.
What criteria do you use to discern the difference? Where can I go to read category definitions?

That it is local news about a car accident posted on the main news page of a political forum.
