Most any city park at night: if the queers don’t get you, the muggers will. If more people carried, this problem would diminish greatly. Here in Atlanta, the campus of GA Tech is downtown. Students are constantly relieved of their phones, laptops, purses or wallets at gunpoint after dark. The perps are always the same. Nothing changes. The message that this behavior will not be tolerated has not been sent, therefore it will continue.
I went to Tech. I lived over off Virginia Avenue. Many times I walked home, going through the Fifth Street tunnel and on from there. But never late at night. And this was in the late seventies. Then, most of the crime was south of North Avenue in the Techwood area.
