Authorities have arrested a 21-year-old fugitive wanted in the killing of a Houston-area police officer, the second death of an area officer in three days.

On Thursday afternoon, the Harris County sheriffs office reported that Tavores DeWayne Henderson had been arrested without incident at a home in south Houston.
He had been wanted in connection with an incident that took place about 8:20 p.m. Tuesday in far southeast Houston, where Nassau Bay police Sgt. Kaila Sullivan had been helping another officer conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle that Henderson was driving.
