“but a woman will destroy you behind your back.”
During my years driving long haul I worked for three different companies. By far the worst experience I had was the one company where I had a woman dispatcher. She was mean, vindictive, backstabbing and prone to fits of temper for no reason.
I only lasted two years with that company because of her.
#13 I was in an empty conference room talking on a phone on my break when a women from HR came in and said in a loud rude voice that I was not to be in here. She turned to leave and said she had told me before. I told her that she had not and I had never talked to you before.
She left the room. I ran into a manager a few minutes later who used to work in HR herself and I explained what happened. She asked who it was and I explained the one who never smiles. She knew who I meant. I did not know her name myself but had seen her in the hallway before always with a determined look on her face. Never a smile.
When I got back into my office one of the guys told she had called him and complained about me. He says she had complained about him 6 times before because his shirts had words on them. She had been at the company for less then 18 months while I have been at the company for 16 years.
Another mentioned his run ins with her. This was one dept of a big 2 story building with nearly 300 people and we had 3 stories about her. I wonder how many others in the building have stories about her?
HR person, you know someone who should be friendly.
She should get a job in gov’t or maybe a HOA....
