This is how homosexuals operate... it is why the Catholic Church has had so much more issue with priests and children since the late 70s than before....
They started to allow openly gay men in, and like they always do, they started to accumulate power and trade sexual favors for power and privilege... and if one of them happened to be into kids too, which was far more likely than with straight men, then they would cover that up to to protect the rest.
You cannot have an organization that allows openly homosexual men into it, and NOT have this happen. It is human nature.. once you make sex and sexual favors part of the systems dynamic, this will ALWAYS happen.
