The European Union’s anti-trust authority approved €3.2 billion ($3.5 billion) in subsidies aimed at helping Europe boost its lagging competitiveness in the electric battery sector.

Am I missing something here? Is there any other type of battery, that is NOT electric? 😁

I hope they make a battery breakthrough but am not optimistic that a radical improvement in battery parameters going to happen. I’m glad it’s Europe’s money being spent, not ours.
