American Standard Champion 4. BEST toilet for the money. Son kept clogging older pathetic Enviro-stupid flusher. Yes; 2-3 times a sitting IF it didnt go down. Now every flush goes smoothly.
Its the one that advertises itll flush golf balls.
Now I violate Sheryl Crows loony paper rules every time - with pleasure!
Great to get rid of these in your face refs. In this case, more like in your ass though.
Low water washing machines are the same... Everything is washed twice to get the detergent out.
I guess we have to do this so John Kerry and Al Gore can keep the swimming pools are their various mansions filled to the brim.
You have a valid point. Having worked in water/sewer construction for a while as a kid I learned that solids flushed down a toilet need other waters behind them to keep them moving. That other water is a full flush followed by washing hands. Then other routine water like dish water, showers, etc.
If a solid is stopped by some imperfection in the pipe and not shoved along by water, the next solid will stop there and soon there is a blockage.
This is a rant I tell people that try to use little or no water.
Government regulation mandates all public toilets have disgusting, exposed fecal matter infecting the bathroom.
Cleansing water is banned.
Our plumber has joked that low flow toilets put his kids through college.
Trump may be exaggerating by saying 10 - 15 times, but twice and sometimes three times is not uncommon. In the long run more water is wasted trying to flush than if a properly sized toilet water tank is allowed to dump it’s full load of water into the stool. At a public restroom the other day I did have to flush over 5 times.
Another pet peeve of mine are those single outlet gasoline cans with no air breather. People wind up taking off those stupid pour nozzles from the gas can and pour direct just to get gas to come out. The net result is spilling more gasoline than be using the old fashioned vented cans.
Thank God for some common sense people like Trump for coming along and addressing some of this left lunacy.
It’s not just detergent that’s hard to get out. We had a family member with c diff. When we talked to our doc about laundry protocol we discovered consumers aren’t the only folks who hate so-called high-efficiency washing machines.
Then they need to look at washing machines. Those HE machines don’t get your clothes clean.
This man truly is working to make America great again!
Too many taxes
Too many laws
Will disagree with him here though. Usually only two or three times. But they clog more frequently since the paper isn’t moved readily.
had similar problem: try using less detergent.
We were advised to use only a tablespoon and not use the fill line provided in the machine.
Works great, saves money. Puts efficiency in the term high efficiency.
Trump knows what people hate. I want my old toilets and light bulbs.
Dems don’t flush I heard. They leave it for others to deal with :D
B$. I have the new stools in my house and they work first time every time. This is the second home I have installed the new stools in and I couldn't be happier. The 3.5 inch flapper valves dump the storage bowl very rapidly and down it goes. Wise up folks do your own research if you have one of the old stools try it yourself.
Anyone have a few cases of 60 watt bulbs they bought a few years ago? Are you using them? Me neither, I can use 5 LED bulbs for the price of one of those old incandescent bulbs and get five times the light.
Things change sometimes for the better. Cars to day can go a couple hundred thousand miles with no major repairs and I for one am glad of it.
A tablespoon! I have wondered about the detergent being fully rinsed out with my new washing machine. It spins for a very long time but uses a lot less water than the old one. This would have no effect on rinsing out the detergent. I will use less each time to see how little will still do the job.
I suspect the old stool is too short for you hubby and if he tries one an inch or inch and a half higher he will learn to love it. Don't believe all these nay sayers about how well the new ones work, they are fabulous I have three of them in my home mostly because the old short ones just don't cut it anymore.
On this I agree. As we get older the 5 gallon cans get heavier and spillage is guaranteed. I solved that with a 10 dollar 2C cell battery pump I bought at Harbor Freight, saves a lot of gas and don't have to hoist that can. It will empty a can almost as fast as I can spill one. 😀
LOL
It’s because it’s harder to find that parts INSIDE the old commodes that will work properly.
I would so love to tell my beloved husband about this discussion. LOL
He’s a extremely inverted person, despite being Asperger or perhaps because of Asperger traits.
Still it’s so funny!
Your post made me LOL!!!
P.S. I have a new commode and don’t have any issues.
LOLOL
